A community coming together to honor Devin, support the Youth Center, and remind others they are never alone.

At K. Body, we believe movement has the power to bring people together. Our mission has always been about helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more connected because while we are strong individually, we are even stronger together.

On June 20, we are honored to host a special community fundraiser in memory of Devin Brucie, whose impact on the Corning community and local children continues to be deeply felt by so many.

This cause is especially meaningful to K. Body founder Karen Shaddock, as Devin was her lifelong best friend and someone who deeply believed in community, connection, and showing up for others.

This fundraiser will directly support the Laura Richardson Houghton Corning Youth Center during the summer months, when the need is at its highest.

As one of the only places in the area that remains open all day for children throughout summer break, the center provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for local families each and every day.

This fundraiser is an opportunity for our community to come together in honor of Devin’s memory while making a meaningful impact on the lives of local children.

Limited edition fundraiser merchandise will be available for purchase in the studio leading up to the event and throughout the day on June 20.
Quantities will be limited, so we encourage you to shop early while supplies last.
A memorial bench honoring Devin will soon live inside the K. Body studio.
With a monetary donation using cash or Venmo, you will have the opportunity to add a pale blue fingerprint to the bench, symbolizing the lasting impact one person can have on an entire community.
Together, these fingerprints will serve as a permanent reminder of connection, love, and collective support.
